Fort Bayard Medical Center is licensed and certified as a 250 bed Long Term Care Nursing Facility. Yucca Lodge, a Chemical Dependency Treatment Center is also located on the Fort Bayard campus. Services include in-patient and out-patient programs. Additional in-house services include Nursing and Medical care, Social Services, Recreational Activities, Pharmacy, Dental, Laboratory and Radiology services, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy and an Adult Wellness program.

The Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) as a behavioral health care organization.
