2007 DDSD Statewide Awards
The Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD) honored the following people and agencies for demonstrating excellence in Meaningful Day services.  Awards were given in the areas of Best Employer and Employee, Individual Accomplishment, Professional Achievement, Provider Excellence, and Best Community Membership practices.

Community Membership Best Practices, Support to Success

Carol Matthews and ARCA of Albuquerque were selected for supporting Michelle Hernandez to achieve her goals of independence in the community.  Carol Matthews, was a part of the team along with Vonne Saxie and Linda Howell of Families Plus and ARCA that encouraged Michelle to be successful in becoming a full community member.
