2007 ddsd statewide directors meeting HONARABLE MENTION CERTIFICATE RECIPIENTS

Hal Ehrlich receives Honorable Mention for Community Employer/Employee Partnership - Employee of the Year for successfully working in the community.

Hal has worked successfully for Centurian Pacific since February 2006.  He has the most longevity of current employees who staff the greeting area of the Bank of the West building.  Compass Bank Building, and Silver Square building.

Centurion Pacific receives Honorable Mention for Community Employer/Employee Partnership - Employer of the Year for success as a community employer of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Hal's employer Centurion Pacific, LLC, won this award for building a stronger, more diverse workforce through hiring people with disabilities.  Centurion Pacific is a real estate trust business that invests time in their employees and makes their properties friendly to visitors and a variety of tenants.

Almost from the start, Centurion Pacific began employing people with disabilities as their front line greeters who work in Albuquerque's most prominent buildings.  The greeters help direct people coming into the building and prepare complimentary pop corn that fills the entire building with that welcoming smell.

Centurion Pacific collaborates with all people with disabilities working for them, providing a lot of flexibility with schedules and addressing individual needs.  They have high expectations of all of their employees and have a very open, non-restrictive environment.  Centurion Pacific is proud of its accomplishments with people with developmental disabilities.
