Common Courtesies 2006 This document is an enhanced version of the very well-received original. Same length, but more information on how to best communicate more respectfully (and effectively) with people with disabilities, including people with chemical sensitivities. Highly recommended.

Multiple Chemical Sensitivities A look at a growing problem  Offers a detailed but brief overview of what MCS is. This document was created by the Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Task Force of New Mexico, in conjunction with the New Mexico Department of Health, Environment Department, and State Department of Education, along with the Governor's Commission on Disabilities (formerly, Governor's Committee on Concerns of the Handicapped).

Now That I’m One-Handed, How do I…?-A Guide for Successful One Handed Functioning  This 8 page booklet contains tips for accomplishing things with one hand.  Available formatted on 8 single pages or on 4 11” x 17” pages that can be printed and folded into a booklet.  (PDF file- see bottom of page for Acrobat Reader.)

New Mexico State Plan for Promoting the Health of People with Disabilities 2005

Tips for First Responders * was developed in conjunction with the Disability and Health Policy Resources Unit at the CDD.  This guide instructs on how to assist persons with disabilities in an emergency.
