Community Environmental Health
The environmental health of communities is an important concern for public health. Our community is where we live, work, play, and learn. Our communities’ clean air, water, proper sanitation, a safe food supply and productive soils are the foundation for good health. How a community is designed and built-out is also important. The built environment can encourage positive community relations and promote health by encouraging physical activity.
