Occupational Health
The New Mexico Department of Health in partnership with the University of New Mexico School of Medicine is establishing an occupational injury and illness surveillance system. The aim of surveillance is the ongoing collection of work-related health data to track occupational health issues for our state. At the core of this project is the New Mexico Occupational Health Registry (NMOHR) which is a repository for occupational health data and physician reports. These data are used to target high-risk work places for prevention by education of workers, employers, and health-care providers.

If you think that you have an illness due to your job, please ask your health-care provider to submit a report to our registry. All information is kept confidential.
