Native American Health

Dr. Ronald Reid is the Department of Health’s Native American Liaison. He serves as key staff on state-tribal issues for the Department and assists in formalizing the Department’s government-to-government relations. He facilitates efforts within the Department of Health and other state agencies to address Native American issues, and serves as the lead facilitator for the American Indian Health Advisory Committee. Dr. Reid also works in partnership with the Native American Liaisons in the other Health and Human Services Departments and with the Indian Affairs Department to meet the needs of Native Americans in New Mexico.
