left arrow to linkChildren, Youth and Families - CYFD provides an array of services to New Mexico children and their families regarding issues such as adoption, child abuse and child neglect, childcare, family nutrition and other provider service-based programs.
left arrow to linkEnvironment Department - NMED provides services such as food establishment (restaurants) regulation, drinking water quality and swimming pool inpsections.
left arrow to linkHuman Services - HSD serves over 600,000 New Mexicans each month by administering several large state and federally funded programs. Their larger programs are: Medicaid which is health insurance for most low and middle-income children, many elderly and disabled, and poor adults. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) which provides financial assistance and job training for low-income families with children. Food Stamps which is food assistance for low-income families and the elderly. Child Support Enforcement Services which assists custodial and non-custodial parents by ensuring that their children receive the financial support they deserve.
