2011 Summer Passport to Health

As the 2011 Passport to Health (P2H) wraps up, the City of Las Cruces Summer Recreation Program & Aquatics Centers were the primary partners who participated in the P2H program. Kids enrolled in the CLC Summer Recreation Programs and started each session with a physical activity exercise for the 15 min. Afterwards, they would proceed to their daily plan of activities, which included: swimming, play a team sport, visit the skate park, batting cages, farmers market or a museum, or went bowling. The kids involved with the summer Aquatics programs also received a passport and stamps.

When they were active with the day’s activities they would earn a stamp for the passport. Once the passport was stamped 24 times, they were filled out and turned in by CLC Summer Rec. Staff. Those who completed the passports were eligible for drawing for sponsor-donated prizes. Those partners who participated were:
