A Visit To A WIC Clinic Changed My Life

My local WIC office saved me months of misery and suffering, likely even my life. When my doctors were stumped with a diagnosis for me, I remembered that WIC kept track of my diet. At my specific request, WIC was able to provide medical officials with months of data on my diet. Those records provided the clues to an accurate diagnosis and finally-thankfully Treatment. I am so grateful there is a program like WIC that provides dedicated support and guidance for all mothers without a restrictive, judgmental environment. The WIC staff’s dedication and attention to detail is outstanding and inspiring. They even taught me to maximize my grocery dollar and prepare recipes. They really care about women and children. As a mother, I strongly encourage every mother to look into the program and the many outstanding services its offers.
