Invitation for Public Comment

The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) is issuing a Request for Public Comment on the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant Federal Fiscal Year 2010 Synar Component Final Report.The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH), Public Health Division (PHD)/ Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (OSAP) is posting this notice to allow for public comment on the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant Federal Fiscal Year 2010 Synar Component Final Report.

The report is substantially complete, but the public should be aware that the report is currently in draft form. A final State version will not be available until time for submission to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

The Public Health Services (PHS) Act, as amended, states that the Synar Report for the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant Application required under Section 1932 will be made public in such a manner as to facilitate comment from any person (including any Federal person or any other public agency) during the development of the plan





The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH), Public Health Division (PHD), Office of Health Promotion and Community Health Improvement (OHPCHI) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Community Health Councils. These statewide services must be provided in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.



The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH), Public Health Division (PHD), Health Systems Bureau is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a New Mexico Dental School Feasibility Study. These statewide services must be provided in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.




REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - WIC: The purpose of these RFPs is to establish contracts to provide soy-based or milk-based contract brand infant formulas through infant formula manufacturers authorized by the New Mexico Department of Health, the Arkansas Department of Health and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services in sufficient supply to service 100% of the WIC caseload; and remit to the Departments a rebate for each unit of the Contractor’s soy-based or milk-based contract brand infant formula (WIC RFP Page)
