Daily COVID-19 Testing Sites Located in Southeastern New Mexico

September 24, 2021 - 2019 Novel Coronavirus - Awareness

Curative testing is available at various locations Monday through Friday

SANTA FE- The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) would like to remind New Mexicans who reside in the SE region of the state of the COVID-19 testing sites available to them. Currently, testing is available Monday through Friday in Roswell, Carlsbad, Lovington, Artesia, and Hobbs.

The SE Region Public Health Offices have transitioned their COVID-19 testing to Curative mobile vans. The weekly schedule is as follows:

 Testing Sites

For individuals who are able to do so, the Department encourages the use of Vault at-home tests for surveillance testing. Individuals can order tests to be delivered to their home at no cost.

As a reminder, the DOH would like to encourage all New Mexicans to get tested for COVID-19 if:

·     An individual has COVID-19 symptoms including cough, fever, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and/or loss of taste or smell.

·     An individual doesn’t have symptoms but was in close contact or is a household member of someone who has tested positive and is in their infectious period. This is recommended regardless of vaccination status.

·     An individual doesn’t have symptoms, but is unvaccinated and lives or works in a high-risk congregate setting such as long-term care facilities, detention centers, and correctional facilities.

·     An individual is a patient scheduled for surgery or hospital admission, even if they are fully vaccinated. Some medical facilities may require testing prior to surgery or admission.
