This report utilizes primarily Definitive Trauma Registry Records, which is a record generated when a patient meets the state trauma registry inclusion criteria and does not have exclusion criteria, is then discharged from a facility to a non-acute care setting, (home, rehab or jail) or is discharged as dead. Patients who were transferred to a higher level of care within New Mexico were captured at the receiving facility. No out of state facility records were utilized for the purpose of this report.
