DDSD has scheduled a series of meetings across the state to provide information and receive comment on the proposed Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Supports Waiver. Supports Waivers are designed to complement unpaid supports that are provided to individuals by family and other natural supports. Funding allotments in Supports Waivers are typically lower than those of a Comprehensive Waiver (traditional DD Waiver).
