What is the Center for Medical Cannabis & Psilocybin?
The center includes the Medical Cannabis Program (MCP) and the Medical Psilocybin Program (MPP).
The Medical Cannabis Program (MCP) allows the beneficial use of medical cannabis in a regulated system to alleviate symptoms caused by debilitating medical conditions and their medical treatments.
The Medical Psilocybin Program (MPP) allows for the medical use of psilocybin, a naturally occurring psychedelic compound, to treat qualified medical conditions such as major treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and end-of-life care. The program is set to be fully implemented by December 31, 2027.
