Carlsbad public health office temporarily relocates for renovations
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health’s Carlsbad Public Health Office is temporarily relocating to 171 East Stevens Street in Carlsbad today for approximately two weeks for renovations.
Limited public health, WIC, children's medical and vital records services will be available at the temporary location during regular business hours of 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m.
Eddy County, which owns the building that houses the Carlsbad Public Health Office at 1306 West Stevens Street, will be overseeing the renovations.
The temporary public health location is the former Eddy County Detention Center and remains a secure facility. For entry please call (575) 887-7556, extension 5566.
